Spicy Asian Grilled Shrimp
Ingredients needed:
You will need 2 pounds of shrimp that are peeled and cleaned.
2-3 cloves of garlic minced
4 Tablespoons of water
3 Tablespoons of soy sauce
2 Tablespoon of Agi Mirin rice wine
2 Tablespoons of sesame oil
2Tablespoons of oyster sauce
1 teaspoon of fresh minced ginger
1 teaspoon of ABC Kecap, sweet soy sauce
1/2 teaspoon of Chinese five spice powder
1 pinch of red chili flakes(This can be omitted if you do not want the spicy heat, or more can be added if you desire more heat)
Cooking Instruction: Add all ingredients to a large plastic bag and marinate for about 15-30 minutes. While you are marinating the shrimp I recommend preheating your grill during this time. You can cook these on an indoor or outdoor grill. If you are using wooden skewers be sure to soak them so they will not burn when adding them to the heat surface. Add the shrimp to the skewers and heat about 2-3 minutes maximum each side, so you will not over cook the shrimp. Add to a nice salad or Asian style rice with some grilled vegetables for a quick and easy dinner. Enjoy!
